PDRN Ultra Barrier Cream

This review is for Sunboon PDRN moisturizing cream, which is made in Korea. This is a gel cream which is unscented and absorbs easily into the skin. It contains PDRN which is a DNA-based compound derived from salmon sperm, known for its regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties, particularly in skin care. It's used to promote tissue repair, improve skin health, and potentially slow down aging. How they decided to use salmon sperm for face care is something I do not even want to think about. In any case, it moisturizes very well and can be used day and night. It is a thicker gel cream but it sinks well into the skin with minimal rubbing. I did not find it too heavy for day time use, but I am also heavy handed with my moisturizers. It also contains hyaluronic acid which needs water to work best. Therefore I always pat some water on my face or spray a liquid before using this. It lasted through the day when I used it in the morning and it works well overnight to hydrate and plump the skin. I did not experience any irritation with this product and you can see the list of ingredients on the last image.

This is such a nice moisturizer! It is a thick consistency so I like to use it before bed for extra intensive moisture. My skin looks and feels amazing when I wake up. So soft and supple and ready for a new day! The ingredients are great, it doesn't have much of a scent. My skin is a bit oily in the mornings, but I can't say it's from this as I normally have that issue. Its a good value for the size as a little goes a long way.

This cream is thick and in a good way, it makes my skin feel noticeably smoother and locks in the hydration that it desperately needs. It is easy to apply onto the skin and it gets spread and absorbed easily, there's a thin layer that's not overly sticky but that lets me know that it's there and working to help protect my skin. The only negative would be that the tube is a little bit small in size but you only need to use a little bit of it as the cream is thicker.
